Hang on a minute now we need to cross check that gauge on another saw that is known to run good and be in good condition. The gauge could be wrong but this is one reason why you shouldnt use China crap parts. I am assuming you pulled it till it stopped rising.

Fuku Sau up says; buy Chinesium.

And for a brand new top end- pretty bloody shocking.
Mind you- automotive tester or specific small engine tester?
Couldn’t tell you.

Yep use the same tester on the 400 (a known good saw) and if you get a reading in the same region from the same tester using the same methods- we might rule out low compression and squeeze another drop of blood out of the stone.

I don't remember if you mentioned it on this thread, but I remember you have a BB cylinder on that 066. I'm betting that cylinder has a really high exhaust port(typical for BB cylinders,) which I'm guessing could skew the compression numbers down.

125psi sounds really low for an 066, but IMO not out of the realm of possibility for a saw w/ a high exhaust port and gauge that reads low.

Yeah i failed to mention that haha. I know that the rings are far from seated, so is it really that low?

FFS so not only are we trying to diagnose cheap aftermarket cylinder woes- you mean to say, after 5 pages of running around the proverbial Maypole tree- it is also one of those 56mm turds?

Ok, heres the backside of the flywheel, coil, and sparkplug.

And my 400 came in at 90psi. That saw has about 2 tanks through it, so it should be good. Tester seems low.
So that gauge prob is not the one you want to use ,buy a new name brand . Take the two saws pull both plugs out ,ground on cyl head , shut the lights in the shop and see if the saw in question has a comparatively weak looking spark.

I dont think i can afford much right now. Im 15, and currently dont have a job.

Ill check that out when i get a chance, but compared to every other spark ive seen it looks fine.
