Well if you are convinced everything is 100%- take it to a shop, get them to compression test it- pressure and vac test it and come back with the results.
Might cost you a few $ but at the moment it is only a door stop not a saw.
New mityvac 8500 might not cost more........shops are charging minimums and flat rates past that.

Did OP/he try adding a little mix into carb yet? If it pops that tells you something, carb/fuel system or major air leak......

Yes that's a good suggestion shops cost a lot. Could prob rent one from an auto store too. I know Advance Auto rents tools.

I keep forgetting just how cheap a Mityvac is over there! We pay near $400 of our local dollars for an 8500 kit- IF you can find anyone that stocks them.
Like most things, fuel down the carb throat, possible air leaks, carb faults and compression issues- most all of it was covered by one or more posts back on page 1. ;)

You should not assume the carb is good just because you worked on it. What is the history of the saw, the cyl and piston was destroyed? If so what did the piston look like, was one side or both sides scored up? This could help troubleshoot the initial cause whether it was from a possible vac leak or if it was straight gassed.
Nothing was scored, it doesn’t even look wore out, just had zip compression. Now it has compression

I did try adding mix to it. Wont pop. I think its ignition related
Not sure if this has been said
Put up pic of coil and flywheel P#s.
Part numbers?

On the coil and case side of flywheel. 066/064 had a crapload of coil/flywheel combos, some don't play nice together.

Shops charge for repairs- some more than others- but if you aint got the gear, not willing to heed suggestions from page 1, don't second guess what is already done, throw parts at it and hope- paying a shop to rule out some possibilities can speed things up!
Thats the next step…

Ill try crank seals first.

Seen the MV8500 new on ebay $70 shipped.

Shop charge $50+ /hour and pay their monkeys <$2

Do you have the old piston and cylinder to post pics of?

Or better yet- did you stick with the original flywheel and coil that were on the running saw- or swap one of those components as well?
Supposedly it ran at one point, as far as i know its the original combo.
I know of 2 people with 066s that was adamant they had enough compression to start.
They went through everything.
Guess what problem was-
Not enough compression.
Ill see if i can borrow a compression tester, but just doing the drop test, its got plenty, especially considering these new rigs havent even seated yet.
So what does "not really" mean?

So does it pop at all, and run until the fuel is used up?
I should have said no. It does nothing.

Not ideal pics but its what i have right now. No real obvious scoring, a little in the jug, but nothing thats through the nickasil.

If the plug has spark and the compression around 160?

Put in new seals then vac and pressure test until it holds a minute or two
New fuel line and filter
New OEM carb
Ill see if i can get my hands on a compression tester.

Its got fresh fuel lines and filter. The carb is in good condition. Can you replace the needles and seats? Or is that why i need a new carb?

Would a local pro shop be able to vac test it?

I got a blown up 066 from my uncle, threw a new piston, rings, and jug in it. Just rebuilt the carb, all fuel lines, and an impulse line. It will pop but wont start. Help?

So way back in post one was a typo?
It will pop but won't start = actually it won't pop?
