088 for a woods saw?

There is no replacement for displacement! At almost 122 cc's it has plenty of displacement (although I would love to find a NOS 090). I have an 088 that if work would slow down would find its way to Ken Dunn. I like the power and don't really mind the weight. I don't usually use it for limbing but for bucking stuff 25" or bigger and stump cuts it can't be beat. I have a 24" bar I use when I want to play around or need an extra saw to buck alot of smaller wood. Usually I keep a 36" bar on it and use the saw on 3 out of 5 removals. Like anything else if you use it enough you'll grow accustomed to the weight.
Remember, big arms make light saws!
