I see several lines 2-3mm in diameter for sale, but the highest tensile strength I see anything rated for is 670lb. That is okay for me only if they aren't allowed to rate there strings for the true breaking limits, but I doubt the string makers are held up to the same standards as the rope makers are.

What's the strongest string you've ever used?

I just ran across the Dynaglide throw line by New England. 1000lb tensile strength and less than 2mm dia. Great innovation, NE :msp_biggrin: This line with that RopeArmor are getting ordered today.

If anybody can post about a similar 2-3mm diameter line with 1000lb+ tensile strength, I would greatly appreciate your input.

I use dynaglide. Think the tensil strength is actually 1200 lbs. I have pulled hard as I could with the throw line wrapped around a stick and never broke it. Great stuff. I have gotten bags stuck and broke off 1.5" branches while trying to get them unstuck.
