at that ratio you will lose a bearing in your saw that one mix fits all crap is anywhere from 70:1 to 100:1 in the packet.
just follows your manufactures guide lines regarding fuel mix ratio.

the cost savings is great and a gallon jug of it is 26.99 at the parts house.
it will make 40 gallons for me at 40:1

i ran my stuff for years on 50:1 with out a problem i might go back to save money then i can get 50 gallons of mix out a gallon jug of oil.

You know what I think now that the gas is more important! I just dumped the gas out of a bunch of saws ,weedwackers, blowers, and all the machines that will sit all winter to put some VP non ethanol to keep them good. What I saw was some water in the gas after it was dumped in a pan! Ethanol draws water in .

I just pour any old 30 weight laying around in until the gas gets a Coca-Cola coloring to it. If I don't have fresh I'll just loosen the drain bolt in my truck and catch some run out in the saw's tank.

I am trying to be more environmentally conscious nowadays, so I'm experimenting with Wesson oil, old fry grease or mashed up soybeans, but these do seem to cause some cold start issues. Any ideas?

you ever try the 5 gallon pail or woodland pro stuff it seems low priced.

i need to send you some walmart supertech outboard oil and see if that stuff will hold up lol.
