On top of losing my cousin in august, my girlfriend of five years just telling me to hit the road last week.I got a call at the house from the coroner in muhlenberg county in kentucky saturday night telling me one of my uncles was killed leaving subway by a drunk driver.
As my other uncle I lost over 2 years ago used to say "Damn the bad luck!"

Sincerely sorry to hear about the loss of u'r kin. Coulda been much worse tho, the GF could have married you

I've had periods in my life when it seemed the rain would not stop. Stay strong my friend, it will. The tough things U go through will make U stronger in the end, and the sky will clear, just hang tough.

The new house I was building (that I live in now) was burned down, I was the victim of arson. Then my wife of 16 years leaves me ... and our 2 girls ... I became a single parent. Tried to replace all the things that "disappeared" during the divorce, TVs, etc, even bought a used Ford Escape with my credit card, no collision insurance, could not afford it. So my daughter takes it out when I'm at work & wrecks it! The dress she borrowed from her cousin 2 months earlier does not still fit her on the day of the Prom! And the 7 year old wakes up a 2 am crying her eyes out because her Mother left, and as I try to console her she says "It is not fair, it is not right, AND THERE IS NOTING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT". Well, she got me there!

It was a very tough period of my life, I felt like I was in a pressure cooker and it would not stop, but today we are all fine and doing well. Stay strong, things will get better, and make sure you go to the next GTG near you!

Sorry to hear of all your misfortunes, when it rains it pours but the sun always comes out again. Keep your head up brotha.

Nice thread, those T-shirts are awesome! Phil sounded like a cool guy. RIP, he's runnin' a 2-stroke in heaven.
