I run super vp premixed fuel
I have a 455 rancher with auto tune! after just 37 hours on it it was getting hard to start and when it did the fumes were very strong of fuel! it had to be re calibrated in the carb from winter when I bought it and broke it in, to summer use and dryer warmer temps!! after that I have not had any issues with the auto tune with a second winter gone an using it to do part of a 12 cord cut..... auto tune is a fussy little britch with a dirty air filter, be warned!!I mostly cut oak and I have a sharp chain idk if it's just the autotune or it just revs so high maybe that's why it eats so much gas

Why, do you have a problem?Should I take it to my dealer
my local ace hardware sells the saws and their tech uses a computer to recal... took about 20 minutes as I didn't make it home and had tp go back to get the saw.... lolChucker, curious as to how the re-cal was performed/accomplished?
!! YES THERE COMPUTERIZED.. LOL like everything else these days?Should I take it to my dealer

It's a hot rod. They burn lots of mix. No way I could afford to run pre-mix, all mine (except the 562xp) are ported gas hogs! I run 91 E-Free with Lucas oil.I like old fashioned better but I figured why not try the autotune I thought that all the bugs and glitches were fixed on them
I'm gonna have to start mixing my own fuel lol
