I've got about a gallon through it since I've been home. Was hoping to get 5 or so but it didn't work out. I really didn't plan on keeping it but it runs pretty good now and I might not sell it.

I wouldnt blame ya one bit for not wantin to sell her Mike. She is special.

Any idea of the gains you got? I did not get any comparisons on the 441. It made a big difference though.

I think this is the last vid I made with it.

It's amazing what removing a little aluminum in certain places does. The muffler mod helps the sound out too. I wanted to mod the nicer muffler since it was hollow to start with but I don't have any deflectors left. The autotune will compensate for porting. It needs to go visit with a 441 and see who's on top.

The numbers are pretty tame compared to some so it could be pushed a little more. It seemed to like the exhaust being raised a little. It didn't lose any torque so it could probably go a touch more if I did some machining to the base to tighten the squish up a little.

A little bump in compression sure wouldn't hurt.:)

No I don't right now. I would have to run it up at pauls again in the oak log to get a good comparison video. I just don't have time to right now. I think I ended up getting around 20% out of the other 576. I would like to get the squish tightened down and get the compression up a little.

I'm thinking a man that would be good enough to send us a NIB saw to play with shouldn't have any trouble finding a machinist that would be more than happy to help out with that...

Thanks Nik. I'm sure you guys could help me out.

Are you saying it's ported now? I sold my 441 to Officer's Match. He's a stand up trustable guy if you wanted to send it to him for a comparison. I've heard rumors of a GTG up his direction in the spring.

Thanks Brad. I'm beginning to think its gonna' take 'til spring for me so see my ES Light - getting anxious to put it to work! I've been saying I want to see a ported 576AT, thinking they are so torquey already that some added breathing up top would make 'em really awesome. Looks like I mighta' been correct - that's a darned nice sounding Swede.

I'll see if I can't get a hold of Jody and see if her and Bill would be up for some spring time fun.

I know Nik does awesome work. I might have to get it boxed up saturday and ready to be sent out. I probably won't get to run it again until around christmas.

Yeah I got it done yesterday. I just had to see if the autotune would compensate. I think it actually tunes better by plug color now then stock. I would like to see it compared to his or a sawzilla. The only saw I've got to compare it to here right now is the 555.

Send her down i will give it a run up against Sawzilla no probs.

Andrew if the shipping wasn't so much I wouldn't mind. If it goes to australia whoever receives it has bought it. Maybe I can get it up to run with Brads or Johns here in the states.

No need to send the whole saw if you don't want to, just send me the jug and tell me what you want taken off. If you want a pop-up on the piston send that too.

Well that would be cheaper for shipping. I thought you guys would want to run it some more is why I was thinking of sending the whole saw.:msp_thumbsup:

Actually, since you've already sacrificed for the AS good, it would probably be more fair for me to send you my Snellerized M-Tronic and let you play. I have a little that I need to buck with it first (maybe a weeks worth), but am game to let all see the final chapter - ie ported vs ported - of this awesome comparison.

That would be awesome too. My friend has a log pile that he could use to compare each in. I don't know if he can get videos right now or not. I know maybe Paul would be able to run both also and get video.

Here's a video from today. It's wearing full comp semi chisel with the rakers at .030" today. It seemed to be a whole different saw today. Just like it gained a lot. I asked my friend if he thought it was any better and he was HELL YEAH!. He said it seemed like it's holding a lot more rpms in the cut. It did lose a little mileage with the mods but it does run a lot better.

Yeah it's night and day different from stock. I don't even think I'll mess with tightening the squish now. If the 441 gets sent down I have some large oak that is knot free for a couple feet that they can be compared in. I have the 30" and 32" stihl mount bars and chains that can be put on each one.

Holy cow that sounds good! Not sure my M-Tronic wants any part of that - LOL. Wonder if the Husky AT system is designed to adjust "slower" than the C-M, like some gas guages take several miles to adjust to a filled tank while others slosh around when you corner or brake.
