585 not Autotune?

I follow the Husqvarna saws facebook page a little, I rarely post about anything on facebook because it seems to dredge up some real winners. This popped up, from what I can tell the OP is in India. I thought all 5 series were Autotune? Is this particular to India? Would that mean that conversion parts are actually factory available if you know what and where to look?

I also see now on the website that it is listed as the 585 professional, not XP..

the 585 does indeed have a carb, fantastic saws to run, my cousin bought one and its got some serious power

So why is it not an XP? Does that somehow circumvent a regulation somewhere?

Its the same scenario as the older 365 and 372XP- they are doing that now with the 585 and 592XP, the 585 being the basic version and the 592 being the Xtra Power model.

There are 5 series battery saws. 543 I don't think is autotune it may be discontinued essentially.

585 is smaller bore too. Have had threads on these since prototypes.


Orange handle tool middle is oem too for carb. Pacman can be made to work in a pinch.
