I don't remember ever reading about a chainsaw manufactering law suit. Is there a record of these things somewhere?
I bet it has happened! look at lawn mowers when the brake that shuts the engine down handle device came out. previously 2 guys were holding each side of 20 inch push mower and pruning hedges. Got cut and we flec'm and good run with it!!:buttkick:

You have to be kidding. Here you would be working 24-7 with 3 years of work booked.

You may be reading that wrong, that is the price I charge for shoes, but if you want them installed, I sort of don't have the Big-O tire idea, Installation is still about $100.00 an hour.

And traction augmentation is of course extra, What are they getting there , if I may ask?

We know damn well it happens! It would make a good topic for another thread someday!

I think Bailiffs should pass-out maps to Judges houses with some of the cases they take. If a judge looked over his court room and noticed that everyone in there knew were he lived, I think there would be a better chance that they would tell some of his plaintiffs to go piss up a rope!

In 1986 , I was in an audience with the CEO of Piper Aircraft, he was saying that it cost $40K for every aircraft Piper made to win there lawsuits.

Every Company can or will get sued!

Stihl lost a suit in the 70's because a guy cut the rope holding the barrel he was cutting from, with his Stihl saw! $1,000,000.00 to an idiot.

Look at Mac & Don's, awarding a fat guy cause there food was good, or the stupid, cause there coffee was hot.

All excellent posts and points well made gentlemen. Thank you. Last night I was called to cut up a 5 ft Oak that was taken down in a storm. I have the only 066 around but could have really used a bigger saw. Someday maybe....

I was going to say! Trims here run about 20 bucks a horse assuming your horse will stand. Shoeing is more!
Wife has 9 out in the barn, lowest number in years!
