Jacob J., I couldn't agree more. I think it's about 90% focus on what you're doing, 9% sharp chain, and 1% machine. The old Homelite Super XL days were 1% focus on what you are doing, 9% sharp chain, and 90% fighting with the friggin' saw, not safe. I think I'm focused more running a chainsaw than anything else, that's probably why I love the dang things. I still managed to find a screw in climbing spike yesterday with the 372, and wreck one of my last Sabre chains. At least all the teeth were back to about .200" in length anyway, not too much left. It was a good chain, I'll miss it.

Geez, Dan must be busy as hell, he's got a 440 of mine also.

Dan i thought you said these 7900 donot take to porting or were you just playing with me
it is a nice saw and seems real strong with some work done to it

I was just playing games with some people. That saw will come alive, you just have to feed it some fuel and do a lot of work on the transfer ports.

i done got to see the 6401.. if u gonna make one of them 7900 cut up.. just be sure an take pics or something.. i know u already doing it .. but i didnt relate until i held that blue thing in my hands. take us a picture.. and u can sendum to me cause i aint gonna understand what u did anyway:angel: .. lets see now honey,,, where cousin dales number at.. reckon his builder got time fer a little work on ma saw..yall send im pictures now.:)
 
we will see Tony , remember we cannot let all the secrets out of the bag at once , some people would not able to handle it
