You must be talking about the pic that shows the whole tree on the ground I took that before I did any limbing..So no you saw it right,I just did'nt cut any limbs yet thats all.
I hear ya there them knots have the tendency to grow back when they hit the landing you got that right,I find more knots and 2" limbs when I get there than after I finish delimbing in the bush.. but hey thats logging for ya always something. The skidder is working out great the one thin I need to do is get the brakes fixed on it asap.
Jumper in all reality I sell all mine timber to New England Forest Products they are in Greenfield NH great mill to deal with and they give me work when it comes up.This job is not done yet I'll have more pics next week, there are still 25 more Pines and 2 big Oaks to come down this job will net rought 9,500 bdft when all said an down..Yes we finally got some sun but today is another washout
You definitly need brakes, try backing down over a hill to get a hitch, and find you have lost the brakes . A 14" beech helped slow the taylor to get it back in foward gear. The hitch of black birch is still down there .

Hi Rob, thanks for the pics of your job. Being a man, I am very "visual" so I always enjoy pics, LOL. They should also put to rest some of the speculation that has been going on here. Keep it up.
Thanks I thought everyone might enjoy some pictures I have taken over the past week,I'll have more soon hopefully I'll have to get some when they come to haul the logs to the mill and stuff..I was hoping it would put a end to some of the speculation.
