I need both parts Bruce. I saw the screw in throttle locks on eBay but don't see where it would screw into my handle.
Brad.
Just under the Choke Button it should screw into the Handle Parrelel to the Choke, If there is no hole, that modle was not equiped with one. Also I might have an Oiler Button as well, you can have. I don't want anything for the parts, just shipping. I'm glad to help out a fellow Mac Man. LOL. Bruce. By the way. How are you feeling since your last Surgery? Bruce.

I just went out in the garage and looked. No hole to thread a throttle lock into. Only holes are three small ones in the grip for the pins that hold the missing throttle interlock parts. You can see the three holes in the 4th pic. All three pins are missing as well.

The kill switch is probably just missing a wire. I can make that up.

OK, your model does not have the Lock In for the Throttle. I will study my Pro Mac 700, and see how it hooks up, and I'll take some Pics of it to show you how it goes into place, when I send you the parts.
Now for the Kill Switch. There is only the On Off Switch, on top of the Rear Handle that operates with your thumb. Does the Chain Saw shut off, when you push the On Of Switch forward? If not, then you have to run a wire from the Switch to the Coil Pack. Bruce.

Sounds good. The switch is there but the wire has been cut off. I'll run a new wire when I have it apart to clean it up.

Brad, Post, or send me a pic of the air filter. I cant tell if thats the newer style, or the old & hard to find curved style.

If its the old style, I have some NOS

Thanks for the kind words. It's probably destined for the dishwasher like all the rest of my saws:hmm3grin2orange:. That way I get a good look at everything and know what kind of condition it's in. I would like to find the missing parts but don't want to put too much in it.

brad i will check and see if i have any of them parts you looking for if i do you may be surprised in a good way on the price of them thanks
calvin

I just had to jump in!!
I have one of these also, mine is a 2-10 automatic with man oiler as well, the right hand start thing is a bit odd. My saw is in almost new condition, I could not belive that it was destined for the dumpster when I got it!!! Fun saw to run for short times and to wake up the neighbors with!!!!::cheers:

Let me know what all you have and don't have since there are other's that might be able to help me out. Send me a PM with the prices and details.

How's this for a crusty exhaust port:cry:? There's a little carbon scoring on the piston but nothing unserviceable. The rings look nice and smooth. I gave the cylinder a light hone and it looks good as well. I found it interesting that none of the ports had any chamfering at all. Just nice sharp edges. I guess that's why there's a bridge in the exhaust port and spiraled fingers for transfer ports. I'll be making a few gaskets as this thing goes back together. Right now it's waiting its turn in the dishwasher. Momma said she got to use it first tonight:D

Were all the old macs a clamshell design?

Here's my filter. Is it possible this isn't a 10-10A? The model is not on the saw anywhere.

Brad.
That is the same filter I saw on e bay the other night, for under $4.00. My 1968 Mac 10-10 Automatic, and my Mac 10-10 after 1970, has the same filters, as your, and my Mac 1-10 as well. Now my Pro Mac 10-10 has a diferent style of filter. It is almost flat. Bruce.
