Aftermarket cylinders and pistons

I too have used the aftermarket kits from ebay. All the ones i have used...024, 036, 034, 0666, were all Mahle brand, factory replacements, for about half the cost of new. They were all in perfect shape. Its a good way to go to get a saw in shape for cheap!

Does Tecomec actually make kits for the 044 and the 064? I buy a lot of the kits for the other saws but I don't have access to those two, that I mentioned above.

Dan- I think they still do or recently have stopped production of those kits. I know OPEcenter.com had those in stock when they were up and running, I'll check with some other sources today.

Now the the big question is does anyone make or sell one for the Stihl 084. I contacted Cutters Choice and they do not have them nor rings. I could get by with a set of rings but I would prefer a complete assembly. Stihl wnats $45 for two rings. Anyone have any ideas.
