Ash trees in Ohio

Same thing here in Southern Ohio. I'd guess we are about at 75% dead last year and will be more this year as EAB will be looking for new ones to survive. I started cleaning up the woods here at home and got all of them on the ground and started on the standing ones. Don't normally cut in the spring/summer but will for this as I can fill in work on spare time as it's just out the back door. 28 cord out so far and probably another 40 or so out there on my place. Around me? 1000's of cord will rot away. Such a shame.
al-k some ash trees can get quite big as you know. My now sil who has a fledgling tree service company took down @ a 4' yard ash tree last summer. He dropped it cause it was close to a house, but me and my 7900 with 28" bar bucked it all. Still burning some of that monster.
This one is about 5.5 feet at the butt way to much for my little 20" bar. The ends where it split off to three where 30". This tree is by my aunts house and when it fell it did hit the house with the tops,did a lot of damage to the roof. Did i mention i am getting too old for these big ones.

I cut some near Montpiller and Brian last year started to look like that. Its a shame to see this happen but near free heat for me!
Have any of you guys noticed EAB killed trees showing signs of odd trunk bowing?
I have a couple 14"-16" DBH trees on my property that started showing signs of bugs in the spring of '13 and buy mid-summer '14 they where dead. In the last couple months the bark has separated from the trunk and is almost hanging on the trunk like a tube , I'm talking a loose bark section 10'-12' long. It almost looks like the weight of the tree is bending the trunk...it couldn't be getting a punky core already?
