When I'm in a tree?

Right hand side utilizing a buckingham break away bungee chainsaw lanyard, hanging off a clip attached to harness.

chain saw

where do you put your chain saw after a cut instead of laying it on the basket floor and what devices do you use for quik access to mount on basket and where to mount device on basket so its not in the way. wow winds are30 mph with wind chill of 20 below. stay warm

WTF:dizzy:

not sure on the B2 but on my Dfly right behind the right Dring inbetween the webbing and the belt there is enough room for a petzl caritool. plastic biner with metal non lock action. if you bend the saddle at such an angle you can "lock" the caritool in by sliding it onto the webbing and have it stay put. works the balls with the breakaway bungee setup.

i'll take a pic tomw, the saddle is at work. then you'll see what i am talking about.

fireman. your looking for a saw scabbard for the bucket.

thanx od. the b2 is dfly with seat. i think the caritool works good on the 2 but i dont have one yet. ill post a pic of mine tomm, it works well but i think there is room for improvment. thanx for giving fireman some good direction.

od did not kill this one yet, im still looking. what ya got?

those caritools are short money too. i think like 6$.

funny thing about them komet saddles. plenty of room for you to do your thing to them.

does your belt part of the saddle loosen up on you? if it does pull it back through the hardware and tuck it in the webbing. (i'll take a pic of that as well.) its helped.

i am still trying to figure out the second flipline thing. i have my steel flip on but when i prune i have a 3 strand 2n1 flipline that i am having a lovehate relationship with. right now they both are on the saddle. i need a twisted clevis to start using the 20 ft rope flip i made the other day out of a retired steelcore flip. its not sitting right and i am not going to fight with it in the tree.

imo the dbl flip is bs. with my setup i can easly use my long line as a flip when hooked up to my d's. i keep an extra krab just in case. my lanyard is the same setup as my climbing line.

i use a non locking ladder snap hooked to the belt with a screw link...and a lanyard with a dog clip at one end and a ring and a clip on the other end...hook the end with the ring to the back of my 200t,, the other end the the screw link,, and hang the ring on the ladder snap...

as for the saw in the bucket thing.... WTF ???

id like to c a pic of that.

I usa cheap [$2] large ladder type snap with the gate removed. I feed it into the little suspension rings webbing on my right hip then between the B2's main waist webbing and the padding right behind the D. The rope I use has a 2" ring to drop over the open hook. A biner connects to the saw and ring. I keep meaning to secure it better as it can work itself out of the B2's waist D strap and padding. I connect the rope to the little suspension ring with a cheap little snap that will tear away. I can hook the saw without looking if needed so its painless.
