I've never had CAD.........and never will.

I'm dealing with FAD. I have somewhat of a handle on it, am making progress, and I expect to recover fully.

The saw in question was an 064AV. On a scale of 1-10, it was a solid 8.

I had no use for it and even though it was offered to me at a great price, I declined. I told my friend to sell it and if he wanted to get rid of it, to put a price of $500.00 on it. He needed to sell it for the money more than I needed to buy it.

I had a great ride, weather was very good, and I didn't get run over by any cagers. That's always a good day in my book.

85cc isn't a big saw, even over here. Whilst the 064 is a good saw, every man and his dog has a husky or stihl in that engine displacement range. Big is over 100cc, such as the 2100/2101, 3120xp, the 084/088 or those listed in my signature.

Taking pictures is more or less a female thing. I don't go thru life documenting it with pictures. Nor do I have any issues with too much estrogen in my system.

And, I'm not going to get into a pissing match over what constitues a big saw. It was my friend that said it was a big saw. I suppose to him, it did look like a big saw.

The only other items that were of any interest to me, were the firearms. They were still in police custody, so all I had to go by, was an inventory list. Mostly cheaper stuff, such as a Star 9mm pistol, a Hi-Point pistol and some Rossi revolvers, an old Western Auto .20 ga. shotgun, and an unknown brand of .22LR tube-feed rifle.

It did have a metal name plate.

It was in very good shape, considering it's age. It was obviously used.......but not abused. 32" b/c on it.

Dry as a bone, so we couldn't fire it up.

Never knew pictures were for females... If you were truly in law enforcement you would certainly know the value of photographic evidence.

At the start of this thread Dano's "buddy" was in possession of the "abandoned" property. If that was the case, why would the police have the weapons?

A typical Dano post, lots of buildup but nothing in the end but a bunch of excuses. To me, THAT qualifies as female... Maybe Dano is a female, Danielle perhaps?

Remember, excuses are for people that need them and arm wrestling is for people too slow to think or too lazy to move their feet.

I'm not sure how taking pictures makes you into a female? Or does it mean you are already female and photography just brings it out? If I take pictures of my daughters, does that make me less manly? I'm confused. I'm so emotional, maybe it's just that time of the month!

Wow.....with all the wisdom and insight that you seem to have, it's a shame your waste it on chainsaws and a saw forum. One might think that you could do very well in personal bio-feedback and self-improvement for others.

I suppose that it could just be me, but I don't have a cellphone or a camera in my hand each and every waking second. Matter-of-fact, I'm one of the very few people that can leave their house w/o any kind of smart technology tucked away in a pocket or clutched firmly in their hand, and not feel all worried that someone might want to send me a pic of their lunch or some used car they're thinking about buying.

As far as documenting claims go, this is a internet forum, nothing more and nothing less, and is way, way down on my list of things that need more attention than others. Do some of you really need to see a picture of a chainsaw that someone might have come across for whatever reason?

Bottom line is this. Rarely, and I do mean rarely, do I ever feel the need to take a picture of something other than maybe a family member or a relative, or some place so spectacular that it needs to be memorialized. A chainsaw doesn't even make the top 100 things that I would think to take a pic of.

See.....I knew sooner or later, that this thread would get nasty and/or go sideways. And, I knew that it would be because of an individual from a small group of members.

And, yes I took pics while serving in LE. That doesn't mean I have to on this forum though. No matter how much bitching, moaning, complaining, criticizing, or taking jabs at me, nothing is going to change.

So, there you have it. It is what it is, and I am what I am. I'm retired now and doing fine. I don't have to give a rat's ass about what someone thinks about me on an internet forum.

It comes down to credibility. You can offer all the reasons why you don't take pictures, why things aren't important, etc., but the bottom line is you have never been able to substantiate anything you have ever said on this forum. Until you are able to do that you are going to continue to be met with the same sarcasm and skepticism that has been shown in this thread.

Not that I feel any need what-so-ever to explain anything to someone so new to this forum, but I will say this.

All I mentioned was that a friend called me up and told me about a saw. He wanted to know if I was interested in it? I told him that since I had a ride planned, I could ride his direction and take a look at it.

I did just that. Found out the model and condition and decided not to buy it. Go back to the start of this thread and verify it. I promised nothing to no one. Didn't say I was going to resell it or anything more than that. I didn't call anyone names or give anyone a hard time about anything or make any promises. Just mentioned that I was going to go look at a saw.

I came back and posted the model of the saw and the condition. Whether I had pics or it or not, is irrelevant. Some post pics and some don't. Even if I had posted a pic, it wouldn't have changed the fact that I chose not to buy it. Lots of people on this forum mention something about a saw and never post a picture. That in and of itself doesn't make their posts any less credible.
