Buying a 346xp on ebay ...

Hi is anyone ever buy a 346xp on ebay? it's about 530$ plus 70$ shipping it's pretty good. up here in Canada we pay 799$ for the same saw.
do you know a good dealer on ebay to deal with. i'd like to get a 346xp at a decent price and hopefully i could save on custom fees!!

No, that's not a good deal.

Dealers around here sell them for $475-$499. Ebay is a bit high, even though less than Canada.

I'm not advocating anything illegal but is there anything wrong with someone from Canada or anywhere outside US getting a trusted friend from here at our prices and shipping it to them?

I'm talking about two members who have been around or possibly dealt with each other before but live in different countries.

Just always wondered why some didn't pursue that route.

Get a used one from Murph. It will be all sorted out and less than 530$ for sure. He is no stranger to international shipping.

:agree2: +1. Buying one off fleabay voids the warranty and if no warranty, I'd much sooner get one from nmurph. He knows these saws inside out.

Back in '10 I bought my 346XP from alamia dot com in Denver, CO. I also recently bought my 390XPW from them for a very good price.

I bought mine on Alamia as well for a great price. I wanted to buy local and was willing to pay more but my two dealers never had any to sell. Always "just sold the last one" for 2 months, I gave up and ordered online. Saw has been perfect. Of course that was before I knew about this site would go nmurph now.
