BTW, Chris just called me up and threatened me. Wanted to meet with me and deal with it "man to man". Just a work for you if you read this, Chris. If you so much as breathe wrong, I'll be calling the cops and have a restraining order put on your butt. I'm not playing games with your type!

While you don't look like a badass from your pictures, you hardly look like a pipsqueek and apprear to be in pretty decent shape. I wouldn't sweat it, BUT in this day and age I'd have decent backup (baseball bat) handy. :buttkick:

Maybe invite him to the next GTG and

Brad,
I know who you're talking about as I've dealt with him before too. He also
sells saws on the surrounding area Craigslists with descriptions that include
just south of here or just north of there. All have painted white bars with
ridiculously steep prices.

"Up for sale today is a Stihl xxxxxxx"

He needs to get some stencils for his bar paint jobs.

Guys who like to settle things "man to man" rarely want that to really happen. They are bullies who talk tuff and don't back it up. Often they bring a couple of friends because they don't feel safe without their gang there.

Mr. HE:cool:

Did he ever say in his ad or on paper that its the OEM piston???

.

He comes up with all kinds of bull#### in his ads. Like was going to start my own Tree Business but decided against it so now I'm selling all of my 066s.
(at $900 by the way) They're always re-worded just a bit even with
different towns listed sometimes.

I told him it wasn't the fact that it had an aftermarket piston, or even a damaged cylinder that I was most upset about. Suppose he honestly didn't know. What ticks me off is that presented with detailed pics showing what he sold me, he refused to make it right. And then denies saying it was original.

He said, "Why would I say it was original and never been apart? How would I know that? I never took it apart".

I said, "Thats exactly what I'm asking you. You're the one that said it was. If you didn't know that to be true, why did you tell me that."

Unfortunately, no. I asked him specifically if the saw was original or had ever been apart. He said no. But he now denies that, so it's my word against his.

Im gussing you pee'd your pants seeing it and never asked to pull the muffler ..........

If you pulled the muffler you would have seen that the tiny little OEM rings were not there......

Definately my fault there. I'm guilty as charged! I started it and it ran fine. It just wouldn't have very long. Compression was only 135 too.

Up for sale today is a Stihl 084AV professional chainsaw. This saw has very low hours and is in excellent condition. It just had a tune up so it starts easy, runs and cuts just like new. This is the largest chainsaw Stihl makes and nearly $2000 new. I have three of these and I will tell you they are unstoppable!! I have seen up to seven foot bars on them! This one has a 36" bar with a sharp chain that is nearly new. $900 FIRM or will take a clean, low hours Stihl MS460 in as partial trade
