Whenever we visited the wife's relatives, there would be some huge storm. Once there was a deep snowfall and the plow drivers went on strike.
Another time a huge early snowstorm killed the power for 3 days.
Often when we leave for vacation we return to flattened corn or trees down.

Speaking of which, we just had one of our fruit trees fall over in the last storm. I should get that back up if I can.

I tried not to laugh, but reading all WS's things that crapped out was really funny...I AM laughing it up right now.
Friggin' tears coming out my eyes from laughing....
I can just picture it now....A whole backyard of kids running around WS's nice, straight, firewood stacks when one kid kicks it and the stacks topple over...oops
Sorry White Spider....and I hope you get it all straightened out or course.(still laughing)

Being from Miami they probably didn't even know what they were....
did this cause another "first" for your pickup? I know it don't know how to haul firewood, but what about groceries?
They had a real hard time with the concept of a wood-fired, basement located, forced air central furnace.
Not first time haling groceries, but it had been long enough it had forgotten how... there was loose canned goods rolling all over the bed by the time it got home.

Well, I thought I got out unscathed......... Went back out to the wood lot tonight to cut another cord. The trusty 359 was hurt after all. The throttle safety lever was cracked in two pieces. Oh well, coulda been worse.

Did get a nice load cut and split though. All beech.
