It is...Looks like April 5th will work as my road is now passable. PM me (those who haven't already ) for directions and contact info.

Also feed back would be nice on how may logs you guys want. Right now I have three locations with one in a "Blow Down" area with poplar..could almost spend a day right there. But its "Natural" instead of a pile of logs..just trees. I cleaned up trail to them, cut sections out and cleared around a few so the access is easy & safe. To this point I haven't planned to drag too much out of the woods in favor of getting around the place and to timber..as posted above.I plan to have a couple of Ash trees down around the parking area....18-24inch dia. The rest out in the woods...I figure its more fun to move around vs. stand in a circle watching a pile of logs get smaller.

I have posted pics and there is a cny-gtg album in the community/pictures-albums sections as well.

Anybody want to carpool?

Anybody from fingerlakes area want to carpool? I don't have a 4WD anymore. I can borrow one if I need to, but would rather split the gas with someone.

I would be interested especially if I don't have to drive. Anybody going up from the Catskills?

I'll car pool, and cover gas, since my Sonoma can only seat myself plus 1 person and 2-3 saws. It'll be myself 1-2 saws and supplies.

Didn't say anything about anyone except Chopwood/ Andy who has a saw for sale. As for getting there we'll see. The PA Lumberjack Assoc. Meeting is Saturday the 4th in Farrandsville, PA. Now if you can find that your doing pretty good. Small town meeting at the house next to the traffic jam.

As for teaming up with someone well not sure and don't want to commit incase something comes up. Its the 10lbs of crap in the 2 lb can thing.

So what SAWS are folks going to bring?

Most of mine will still be at the house...across the Valley. I plan to have the following on the hill:

Homelite 340 Weezer/ with muffler mod
Homelite C-7
Homelite XL-903
Homelite Super XL-925
Husqvarna 455
Husqvarna 365

Maybe a Mac in a Alaskan Mill. Depends.

I'll have my 180 and my 024. The 024 needs some TLC, maybe I can pick some brains while we're out there.

It's a Remington Mall, Silver Logmaster. Sorry.
Maybe one of you guys can help me get a couple of pics cutting some logs with it?
My hunting buddy's father gave it to me 15 years ago, He's about 80 now and not doing so good, Couple of pics of his old saw being put through its paces might bring a smile to his face.
