Another way to prove mayhem for yourself with no scale, nor pulley. Throw line, slick stick, metal link(optional), measuring stick/tape. Accuracy not as subject to spring, can be made to be more dramatic by farther travel of system. Indudctive reasoning to pruf, but a determinate way of showing power ratio/exchange.
In any system force is not created or destroyed but altered and transfered. If under constant force a longer route is put into a machine than gotten out, power gain must have happened it is the law of the land!
