Convert Flippy Caps To Old Style Caps

Dave hasnt had those for awhile now and WCS ones never caught on like the FT ones Dave was selling.

Proline in TX has them last I checked now days.

Couple locals saws I switched out for them.

I just stumbled into this thread and I had some experience with flippy caps'
I'm more careful with my STIHL flippy caps AFTER a all at once SURPRISE in the deep woods, the flippy cap came off and dumped fuel down my crotch and leg on a hot day when crotch cranking the saw immediately after re-fueling. Lots of burning and chafing later.
I thinking about taking a spare set of pants when I'm going to use my flippy cap Stihls.

I'll check into the convert

Did they make these proline caps for the 038 Magnum with the flippy caps

Why don't they just offer both types? After the flippy cap saws stopped selling they might understand. Every big business has a team of "problem solvers" who are paid to solve problems that don't exist. They have to invent problems so they can solve them in order to keep their jobs. With Stihls invention of flippy caps and M tronic carbs, they have won the non problem award of universe.
