Get enjoyment out of whatever you want. My math is fine. Your post reading skills haven't improved since you were missing the point of Mark's posts. We never said you were 18. We were talkin' about your chearleader. He's 18, and the one we were being 'hard' on. You weren't on my ignore list (he was).............but you are now...

Well your stock went up a little in my book for stepping up to the plate and admitting it was you that went overboard!
Now all you need to do is mount a D176 on a Roper saw and look through the top adjuster hole. Then tell Mark you were mistaken.
I hope it stops raining for ya bud!

Thing of it is....the roper saw DOES OIL THROUGH THE REGULAR OIL HOLE!!!!!!!......"if" what hes talking about is the early mac 10-10's had the oil output hole in the case in a different area....but the later 10-10 saws it is in a different location and does oil through the regular drilled oil hole......and finally today it didn't rain on us...once in 4 weeks of attempted days at cutting and got rained out....too bad it was a F***in saturday....one of my rest days totally blown out the window in the forest.....atleast im cutting nicer stuff...24"+ on the stump prime hardwood...and no pics...i barely have enough time to put a chew in...

Uh OK, prove it.

You know, a few weeks back I was up the road talking to a couple of guys who also belong to the forum.

Boy did we laugh at some of the stuff that goes on around here.

This place is a chainsaw forum for guys who like saws.

I often think that a lot of people out there are much happier being ignorant. They've made up their mind about whatever they are into an argument about and would prefer to "stick to their guns" than admit that they may be wrong and maybe try something out to better whatever predicament they are in. Hey, it's better to be stubborn and do things the same way than to humble yourself for a moment and learn, right?

Only reason I know this is that I used to be the same way, and still sometimes am!

Chris

U prove it...:msp_rolleyes:

Thats about what I thought and expected.

For what its worth I have a 10-10A. The only one left but I have owned a couple more 10-10's a Pro 10-10, Pro Mac 10-10 and a Pro Mac 10-10S.

Now I must not know anything about them but I think the ProMac 10-10 would be a late one as is the Pro Mac 10-10S and they all had the same bar pad on the case.

The 4 or so PM605-610's etc are all considered late models and also use the same bar mount.

I have also had a couple of Roper/Craftsman 3.7's and they all had the same bar mount.

Now if you have proof of them having differnet versions and bar mounts please make your point and prove it.

Read what is posted above, swallow that pride and fess up.

Mark,

You are wasting your time, people who are never wrong always have a response to make you continually do all the work when they do not have any facts to substantiate their position.

I go through it all the time with my Studebakers with people telling me that Ford made the Studebaker 289, etc. You can show them all the proof in the world but they will never admit they are wrong.

Since I have a couple of Craftsman/Roper 3.7's and Mac 10-10's so I will be happy to accept any extra bars you have in order to do a test fit for the group.

Yeah I know, I have been laughing for days already. Now the "spin" comes out. :hmm3grin2orange: Yeah, Ok.

Only thing spinning here is my chain around my oregon powermatch bar on the craftsman/roper 3.7 with lots of oil via the oil hole....and of course your eyes i guess...LOL!! What makes you mr. know it all anyway?..... Listen buddy....its the internet...you believe what you want to....but i stated how it works and thats it...i know because i have both saws personally with the same bar as stated before....the craftsman and the 10-10 both i tore completly down and re-built and running. I dont build my saws on the compouter like some people...i do it on a bench with actual tools...not just saying you did it because your behind the power of a computer. And everyone cheerleads and gangs up on one another...maybe this site isnt what it used to be with lots of good people and perfect advice and no arguements?......time changes things and i see it.....i just have a sense of humor...that maybe some people dont like....if you dont like the joking and you dont have a sense of humor maybe you need to get another hobby, or job in my case because you will NOT make it very long...i did wander off topic in this post but it was the place to post it. I dont have time for the rest of this...

Gary, your right of course but I was having some fun watching the show. I never get over watching someone show there ignorance.

No need to bother with your test fit, you already know what will happen.

U go ahead and tell me how a fact is wrong? Oh yea...and tell me where i said i was never wrong?!?!?! Maybe you should look at yourself?

When did i say the roper had a different mount?.... Too bad i didnt even say that....THE oregon powermatch bar that i posted the part number for is an exact fit...which also happens to fit the mac 10-10 for the 3rd time!....You sir dragged the whole 10-10 arguement into the mix...which this thread isnt even about! Aint no pride thing buddy...aint no way...

Exactly what i expected....:msp_rolleyes:

You are so smart!

You have impressed me so much.

You've made new friends and have become an influence on this forum!

People will read your posts now and not do any further research because what you say will be as good as gospel. Even if you are unsure of something please go ahead now and spew your techincal information and know how all over the place so people can waste their time, effort and money based on your knowledge!

I can't believe you actually went toe to toe with Modified Mark, you presented your facts in a diligent and methodical manner. You brought them to the table and totally knocked Mark off his square.

Impressive!

Boy, I'll never listen to that Mark again. I always thought his tips on things were a little shaky anyways. Now I will ask you! Thanks man!

There will be no sense in replying to this post, because I will not respond back.
