1) good running but filthy 026 w/adj. carb, 5 extra chains, gal. of stihl winter bar oil - $95 Have invested a new air filter and spark plug on this one.

2) complete but well used 064 that needed a coil, a 024S and 028S complete but partially stripped down in a recycle bin both with excellent P/C but needed TLC (air filters hoses/lines bar/chain) - $200 The 064 is a runner with the coil.

The above both at the sellers homes. The former, a homeowner who was moving. The latter, a construction contractor thinning the herd.

Yeah, we all remember your $35 MS200T that was a good running saw as I recall you saying in the last thread you mentioned it.
I'm sure the guy who the crackhead stole it from remembers it too. :nofunny:

It actually came from a 65 year old guy who had run a home improvement business before he was forced to retire due to a heart condition. He was selling off his unused tools, you might want to get the facts before you make an assumption.

It's curious how many people consider Craigslist to be a "thing". All it is is a means to connect buyers and sellers. They're all individual people. So every kind of person is going to be encountered. Thieves, felons, people needing rent money, ex wives cleaning out their guy's junk, old people moving into a retirement home or can't start their old Mac anymore, and so forth. Whether you find saws at estate sales, yard sales or your local paper's classifieds (is there such thing?) it is still just people. I buy and sell most of my saws on CL and haven't found it to be any different than any other venue for buying and selling. It eventually turns into a face to face encounter and you are dealing with a person, not the ephemeral "thing" that some think CL is.

When I'm not carrying a chainsaw, I'm carrying a 1911 - Smile! - Wait For Flash! :picture:
Hillbillies you say
I will tell you like I told the Canadians when I was up there, you keep messing around and I will take you back home and drop you off up in some holler where they think deliverance is a comedy.

it aint ? , squeal pig , squeal .weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..... .:lol: , people still have to be careful that they don't wind up some hillbillys bitch :heart:boy floating down the river around here . :crazy2:

I bought this off Craigslist... one owner, just used around the yard, always cleaned and ran out of fuel with every use. It wasn't $35, but it was less than most of the old crap saws I usually see for sale. It now resides in Tennessee, it was too nice for me.
