Not sure of the brand. Maybe Grove? 35 ton, 105' stick w/ jib. Been using the same crane guy for about ten years. Total trust and confidence on both ends.

I've used mostly Grove and Link-Belt, those are what the local crane companies own. Idunno much about the physical characteristics of the cranes, but I can tell you that I trust implicitly the crane operator I've worked with the most. His name is Jimbo and I've done probably over 100 jobs with him.

Here's our local arborists' favorite crane operator, Richie Knowles... I've seen this guy handle some picks that were just too complex to describe in words.. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my life... I think he uses a 35 ton Grove for most trees... anything bigger requires permits to drive.
Here he's giving the neighborhood kids their first lesson in operating equipment.... That was a fun day... over 25 people in the neighborhood stopped by to help.

Daniel, I can't help but think that, that guy's name sounds familiar to me. I just can't, for the life of me, figure out why.

Craig, are those the new Buckingham aluminum pads I see being used? How do you like them? How many truckloads of chips did you guys take out?

Good work :)
