Had a cute little blonde bring in a Husky 350 yesterday. Chain was hanging off of it. She goes its dull and needs a sharpening and the chain put back on. I say no problem. Would you believe I put her ahead of the Stihl saws and trimmers and got her saw done right away. I don't know if its because I love them Huskies or them little blondes,LOLOL

Did you check her muffler bolts ???

Well, they say a smile goes a long way, but some smiles do go quite a bit farther than others, don't they?

There are stories that I really can't tell on this forum, but some of those situations like Tommy described can turn out pretty good.

MS280, professional use. Feller says it makes a helluva racket, I put a new chain on it but it makes alot of noise. I say okkkkkkkkk, lets have a lookie. Well lookie here,LOLOL

Shames on ya Master, you should have noticed that worn sprocket in the first place when you put the new chain on. Okkkkk, I understand...that was probably a moment where that blond got all the attention....:poke: :hmm3grin2orange:

Hmmmmmmmmm..............

Did all these customers buy their equipment from you? Maybe they aren't getting the "proper" use speech. Bad dealer maybe? Probably get a better speech from the local Lowe's/TSC on maintenance. :)

I get em from all over. Rest assured those that bought from me get the whole nine yards of info they need before they go out the door. Whats funny is when my buyers come back with problems they created themselves by neglect or otherwise. I get the big kick out of " now what did I tell ya when you bought that machine", LOL. Problems can be turned into fun times for the customer and the dealer. The customers and me have alot of fun regardless of what is wrong or who is at fault, the machine or them.

Speaking TSC I just met my man from over at TCS for the 1st time. He dropped off a chain to be sharpened just alittle bit ago. I said are you the guy that sends people overhere to buy Stihl, he goes yup. I said good man,LOL I didn't ask him why he did it and don't plan on it. Just hope he keeps doing it and doesn't get caught overthere at his place.

I did the same thing except I told them to buy a real saw. I quit shortly after they started carrying Husky's. I steered them away from the Cub Cadet/Efco crap and Poulans and sent them to my JRed dealer back home. Maybe that is why I get some good prices from him.

I can't remember what she wanted but I did it on the spot, she rubbed my arm and said I was so nice, little does she know,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Oh, now the whole story comes out....that's what takes so long to get your equipment back from the Stihl (waiting) dealer.....

Sounds like you're worried more about fixing your own oiler! :monkey:

Can't blame ya one bit!.....Did ya show her your long bar?

I'm a newcomer to the forum and I've been following this post with some considerable amusement.

Your last post reminds me of something my father always said...

"looks aren't everything...but they sure do help!"
