Well the GTG was bad for me. I think I've found a buyer for the boat. If he does buy it, I am going to purchase a Dolmar PS-7900 and have Dean do a Stage 3T on it.

It's a disease I tell ya, I didn't need the boat anyway.

Nice saw. I ran one over the weekend. Silky smooth, light and powerful. If we had a local Dolmar dealer I might be spinning a 7900 rather than my 441.

Good luck with the 7900.

I have left mine stock save for the muffler mod. It is probably my go to woods saw...My favorite used to be a 372, but with a 24" bar in hardwoods, the 7900 is a hard saw to beat. I use the 660 and 372 much less than I used to after getting the 7900.....

No thanks...at least right now. I am still waiting to use it on my mill, if it ever gets off of back order..... And I am home to actually use it

wife is happy

Actually, it kinda puts me in the dog house. The wife likes the boat. She has one of those long sea kayaks and she always tries to get me to take the boat to the lake so she can take her kayak along. She won't go alone and doesn't have any kayaking friends to go with. Oh well....

get the new saw, hook it to a mill and build a boat, duh!!! wifes happy, your happy, and u got to build a boat out of wood that u cut!!

Maybe, just maybe, you could get enough money out of the boat to buy the 7900 and a modded 357. Now that would be real cool.

No chance of that. It's a 14' flat bottom john boat. The only reason it'll finance the 7900 is the trailer, trolling motor, fish finder and the 20hp Evinrude outboard it has on it.

I've been wanting a bigger saw for awhile now and the GTG just drove me over the edge.

Sweet.

I think I want to Stage 3t my 460.... but that might be after I do my 361... AFTER I get my 353 back...

... but I'd like to see how they stack up, modded.
