Still up in the air on when I'm going down. If work allows, I might head down Friday afternoon to help Eric get everything set up and to visit some friends in Indy. I probably won't know for sure what my schedule is going to look like until the week before...

Come on Casey

I will loan you a saw to run. let you feel the power of that 3.7 LOL
nah you can run my 5100 or my 7900
I might even tinker with that Monkey Wards electric start saw.. see if it will even run. Maybe can find a new owner for it that day.. Maybe make it a door prize.
I would think as many of the lower MI guys you could must up 2-3 car loads..

Well, I do have those new tires on my truck.

I gotta say I hated to miss the last one...I can't say for sure, but I think I'm in this year.

Well that brought back a lot of great memories.

I just hope it is not Muddy, and cold for the October GTG.
Although the 4x4 tractor has a fresh engine in it now just in case. LOL
We sure did have a good time that day. This year will be either chili or my world renowned vegetable soup.(secret recipe)

I might actually be able to come to this one. I took the week of the 28th off so I can probably swing Sat off. Never been to one of these GTG, so it might be nice for me.

Anyhoo, if I do come what would people like to see? This is my arsenal, pretty much an all inclusive list. Just about all run, a couple don't and a few are NIB.

I hope you can make it. I'd like to see the 090, Homelite 2100 and a 125 Mac, since these are all things I've thought about adding to the collection at some point but haven't had a chance to handle.

I'd also like to try out an 031, since I've never run one of those and might like to pick one up someday, too, since they're just so purdy to look at! Plus, it would be an appropriate saw to have around considering our firewood theme.

These ones caught my eye.

I spotted a nice cookie tree today

Not sure if I want to drop it.. I am not into cleaning up any more tops than the 600 already on the ground.
This appears to be a well seasoned Hickory standing. LOL
LOL I will try to find some of that Poplar wood them stihl guys like to cut.

impressive list of saws coming

Ok the BIG question is.....Who's bringing the wild thingies ?????:buttkick:

bring any saw you wish to share

I like running the relics.. as long as they start within the first few pulls.
And he77 yeah I would like to run a kart saw.

Another nudge. If you can make it, you should! If you're still unsure about whether or not to come, here are a couple good reasons why you should try to make it:

1. We don't want Mark to have to do all the cutting by himself again this time.

2. Eric might even let you run his 3.7.

3. Kris doesn't have his 361DN anymore, so your 361 might actually seem fast.

4. It is much more interesting to talk about saws around a tractor than around a watercooler.

I will show you how dependable

That 3.7 Craftsman is.. It has not been started since the last GTG. I will not touch it til everyone gets here.. If I was a betting man, it will fire right up and run fine.. and no, I did not drain the gas out of it. Never have.. and I have owned it for ,well a long time. 10-15 years.

Nudge

Hey Eric, not making any promises but I’m gonna try to make it this time. Things are starting to slow down for me and I should be ready to go buy Oct.
