FWIW, I cut a lot of wood the other day and the paint is still on the bar (amazingly) .. I figured it would come right off ... it just got dirty

Big dogs on that happy start Makita there... nice logo lettering paint job. Though, I dunno why anyone would want to make a advert lettering bar. Maybe paint my name on bars to keep them from wandering off in the wrong PU truck? But I think I will spend my time truing bars and sharpening my chains, rather than painting bars. Heck, the house here needs finished paint-wise.

Oh man it cuts 10000 times faster!

The bar is bent really bad at the tip and so while waiting for my new bar to come in, I was just messing around .... That chain is garbage too ...
