Id be there, with a truck, saws, tools, water, food. But I work a double. 1rst and 3rd shift. Like said.. I have wood, if anyone can haul it up from my place. truckload is easily obtained here.. Let me know and maybe we can work out a plan?!

(Etiquette question: if a Mod shows up at a GTG, do we have to be polite to them there too?)

Expect to see some of those saws from your recent haul running there!

Philbert

No, unless you want some of the venison sticks I'll bring with for snacking!

I might bring the little 25DA, otherwise it'll just be the usual collection of Dolmar workin saws for this one.

OOOOOH! we can try out those little adaptor thingies!

Philbert

All I need to test one is a Stihl bar! I saved one for my private stash, just in case.

Lets not get so technical! :msp_w00t: Adapters for bars?

Yes, I made a bunch of adapters to use Stihl mount bars on the big Dolmars. There's about 30 of em out there now getting "beta testing" by AS members. I'm looking into making them commercially available, but still working some details out.

Sounds like a plan!

So when do you loose the Trainee part? "Moderator Trainee" :hmm3grin2orange: Need 5 more "busts"?

Count me in sounds like a good time. Maybe one of you guys could help me out with my MS391. I have a hell of a time getting any "1" series saws to run right.

When I come up with another witty title to replace it with.

'Moderator's Apprentice'?

(I hear that there 33 degrees/levels of Moderation!)

What type of problems are you experiencing?

I'm sure there will be someone who can give you a few pointers!

I have a McCulloch 10 10 that has stripped spark plug threads. Any one that's coming have thread repair tools they'd be willing to help me out with this? I believe it's 14 mm. Thanks!

oh for some reason it will randomly die or have variable rpm's/"hickup" at wot. It happens randomly, I make sure the fuel filter isn't stuck, got fresh mix for it, clean air filter. Its only got maybe 2-3 hours on it, 2 years old. The symptoms don't really point me towards anything specific.

I heard a rumor that we could end up with a foot or more of snow by the time our GTG happens. Manyhobies hope you can get some things marked incase we actually get some real snow finally. Any word from the farmers yet?

I'll make a point of talking to him tomorrow. The thing is, I've always just stopped in and found him working outside. I'll have to dig his phone number up and give him a call.

I'll see if I can walk around there. It gets hilly and might be tough on my back.

Yeah, that would stink if it was all covered/hidden with snow!

Looks like most of the snow will be along Interstate 90. (so the forecast is calling for....)

Guys,

Don't forget your kevlar long johns and winter weight bar and chain oil. Check the summer/winter shutters on your saws. And put those orange balls on your vehicles' antennas . . . .
