Im talking about a full take down, not trimming. Once coming down cutting the main trunk, until this point i take my srt line and move it down to the next crouch. This have proved to be a very tedious process though, Any tips, or do you just not rely on srt anymore?

Simple. Run another rope up with an eye. Put the eye through a ring and wrap the rope around the tree and back through the eye. Put a carabiner through the eye on the rope. Hookup to the new rope. Drop the first rope. Easy to loosen and slide down the tree when taking the tree down. Take a block off, move the rope and take another block off.

I usually climb removals drt instead. On treestuff there is a webinar about spar work using srt.

Same here, except use my double similar to a single for blocking off, chocking the double through large cambium saver. For big stuff, allows lowering down to next stance, make scarf while resting on line, reset spike position, then flick line down (on smooth stems), without having to unclip.

One of the reasons like the zig zag, bomb up on single with chicane, bomb down on double for flexibility when blocking down.
