how long does fuel last

On my 10 gallon aluminum tank i built I put a rod with a crank on it and some paddles welded to it in the tank. I just give it a few cranks each time i get some out...

I am serious. I set out to build myself the ultimate 2cycle tank for my senior project in welding... Small pump, gun, the auger, guage, drain, mounts, whole 9 yards. Metal was free, only thing I bought was pump assy and gauge, rest was free aluiminum.

gas tank

You want to get real fancy with the gas tank use an old aluminum drum used to transport explosives years back. They had raised relief pictures on them and we used them for gas tanks on dune buggies. The money I could get for those antiques today. I would think that the gas would mix up well riding in the back of the pickup.

Boy, theres nothing like the smell of gas thats been sittin in a saw or snowthrower for 5 years. Especially the garbage they sell at the pump today. Peels the paint right of the walls

gas mix does not last long around here. when we are in the woods, each man will average 2 1/2 gallons of gas and 1 gallon of bar and chain oil used per day. marty

Fish, it lasts all winter because they won't eat it.
My local stihl dealer says two weeks. Usually after a month, I just put it in my car. Haven't had a stuck valve since.

I only get enough gas that i'm going to use that day too, which is 2 1/2 gallons try to keep that much spare too have been known to smash my stuff before.

Yup!

I got a couple big plastic cups on the bench I pour the gas in there and usually wait to dump it in the big drums till its full. Sometimes I have to dump it immediately.
Never figured out why it smells so bad...

Somebody in the shop drains a tank of that stuff out and they get booted outside MUCHO RAPIDO! Everybody starts yellin! LOL
