20%-30%. Lots of static electricity but I spend all summer taking water out of the air in the house, not about to spend all winter putting it back in so long as there are no nosebleeds etc. in the house.
Yes, by 20-30%, I get a lot of pokes too. Maybe I would not try to run the humidity as high as I do if I didn't have quite a few musical instruments in the house. I do have humidifiers in each case, but I do like to leave a few out of the cases to just grab when I want to doodle a bit. Minimum humidity I'd like to see with these instruments is about 40-50%.
Got down to -5 last night outside, and the windows were just starting to sweat with humidity in the 40-45% range and around 65-70 degrees inside. .
