Husky 272xp?? is $200.00 a fair price?

hey guys - great site, been reading all day

quick question. have a chance to buy a "new" (used once) husky 272xp from a woman from work (her husband passed away so she is selling all his tools) she stated it looked brand new and comes with a 24 inch bar

is $200.00 a fair price for this saw?

also i do plan to buy some chain saw pants (had no clue i needed them until i read this site)

Yeah, a like-new 272 is worth a lot more than $200. I'd jump on it.

got it this morning - i bet it's way too much saw for me as the 24 inch bar is a little intimidating and i'm not going to fall any trees but rather just cut up firewood i buy - local guy is selling a cord's worth of green hardwood (in 6 foot lenghts for 60.00)

i fired it up last night and she started on the second pull and ran just fine BUT i'm not going to mess with it until i get the saftey gear (this weekend).

good news too is the lady i bought it from, found three extra brand new bars and chains for the saw as well..
