I hate to admit this but i raced a 350 with my 455 in 15" wood
both chains sharpened by myself the 350 was running 325 the 455 3/8 carlton full chisel
the 350 was almost the same age as the rancher and run in!
same tree cut in half and i was taking the end that gets thicker
i was cutting off 1.5 to 1.75 blocks for evey one the 350 did
it could just have been the operator
next time we go out im taking the 036 should be 4 to 1 then!!!!!!!

no kidding any 361 or 360 would spank either of those.

I think I'm going to send my 5100 and 026 to 2000Sm so he can some over and let you run them to shut you up.

why dont you do that, this way i can get my saw out of the truck and shut you both up.

In reality it is totally irrelevant to compare a 455 or a 290 to a NE346 or 5100, because of the huge weight differences involved.

For the weight, a 455 really should have been able to outperform the MS361, and a 290 should have been really close to the MS440, but they surely are nowhere near doing that........

Long story short, don't run yo mouth about a saw you haven't run. some of us have owned and ran all of them.

It wouldn't even be worth my time to show that fool how to use a saw. I beleive he is mad because he wasted his year's worth of school lunch money.
