My old Stihl dealer was 7 miles away... not friendly and numerous hassles even after spending $1800 in a single day, twice that in a single month. New guys are family owned/operated and 30 miles away. Nicest folks I've met running a Stihl (and Echo) dealership, and I don't mind the extra drive one bit. So far, I've only spent about $400 with them and they treat me like an old friend of the family.

I figure, when you find a good one... screw the other guys. I like these folks and their business model. I watched as a guy came in a bit pissed because his more than thirty saw chains weren't all sharpened the day after he dropped them off. Like he was their only customer, or something. The owner was so polite, the guy finally cooled off, but I was impressed that the owner didn't fall for the idiot's bait. Stayed calm, cool and collected.
