Not the most powerful or the fastest saws out there but they have the torque I like.
And this series is just enjoyable to me to run and really wakes up to porting but not necessary to cut anything anyone would need cut.
I like 365/371/372s but they are more high pitched
High revving saws
The 2 series just lumber along doing the job.
Too bad the oem supplied Brazilian 272s dried up
I wanted one.
Never run a ported one but I’m running 32” on that one in the truck. Pulls it respectable. It’s been on there for years. Skip chain in hardwood

Agree they’ve got a little torque. You run the two series a little different than the three

I don’t care which one I run but I got good deals on the 2 and like them. Pretty darn reliable tough saws. They flat out work

I was in that group for a long long time. I learned over time that if a saw does what it is supposed to do, cut wood,it is good enough for me.But I do understand the guys out there making a living with a saw and runing hard everyday.I would buy the top of the line as well.If the China saw last me 3 years for the amount of cutting I do with a 70 cc saw,I will be pretty happy and probably buy another one.I have a Husky 545 Mark 2 I use for most of my cutting, and a 6421 Makita for some bigger stuff.I will run a 24" on the clone for the occasional bigger tree or stump. We have a lot of dead ash trees here and I like to be able to make one back cut and get the hell out from under them.
Here's a simple muffler mod that works good

Or get a deflector someone makes
I know red97/dyno joe sells them.
