This looks clean, and it's local to me.:msp_wink:

Husqvarna 288XP Chainsaw

That is one CLEAN 288XP. It's a later saw with the decomp too. MUCH easier to start than the earlier saws without the 'sissy button'. I'd bet that's the only 181SE/281XP/288XP saw in SLC. Probably is also the only saw with a full-wrap handlebar in the state of Utah...

Almost looks like the bar cover came from California. Maybe I can interest the seller in a trade for a really clean late production Poulan 306A with the Ca-specific "temp limiting" muffler...:D

Where the heck do you find saws like that one Aaron? Are they expensive?

there is a 03 model 372xp posted in Greenville SC CL for 400 . I went and met with the guy.Nice fellow ,the saw was in great shape . He says it has been used very little ,he used it to mill some pine to build a sauna, that was it. The man is from Sweden, Norway,a scandanavian country can't remember which and knows the quality of the saw. He went down to 350 and I did not want to insult him by trying to get it for less. IMHO it is well worth it. I just could not justify the money, look at my sig and you know why. Any one wanting a good 372xp this is it.

Dang, wish I was close. Some of my family live there. Tobacco farmers years ago.

I've never found one myself. A good friend of mine got it in some old hippie's combination mower/Prop-215 shop. Thankfully he send me the saw and kept whatever else he bought there.....:jester:

As far as their value.............gotta be at LEAST as valuable as that thar 288XP, at least in SLC where the biggest trees are probably 6" DBH...:D

I don't remember what it was, muh short term memory is a little fuzzy. I do remember having to stop for a big bag of Cool Ranch Dorito's, and a Dr Pepper though.

Vintage Mall Big Old Heavy Chainsaw

Anybody collecting old saws?

Vintage Mall Big Old Heavy Chainsaw

You see it the way I found it years ago. It has just sat on my shelf. Turns over but I have never tried to start it. You get it the way you see it. Asking $125

Yes to old saws!

That is not the most sought after old saw though and you might be a bit much on your asking price. Especially if it cant be picked up in person.

There was one locally to me for $50 OBO

Just to clarify, this is not my saw and I have nothing to do with this saw.
I found it on one of our local CL and thought it was unique.
No idea if price is in the ball park or not.
