Other than the rebadged Makita 6401 & 6421 (which certainly aren't common), Dolmars are very rare around Houston, esp. the 9010. I believe that the 9010 was dropped in the USA by Dolmar a few years ago because of problems meeting EPA regulations.

Chainsaw Dolman ps9010

That is a smoking good deal. A couple years ago, there was a seller on Ebay selling the Makita equivalent brand new for a hair over $600. Wish I would have bought a couple of those to hold onto.

Gotta:msp_biggrin: start lookin for more saws, going through withdrawal symptoms. Cold shakes, headache, fever.

Hey everybody, Is there some kind of a get together in Carthage Mo. in the near future, and what is it exactly?

Yep. It's on 04/06/13, and you can contact AS member Hedgerow (Matt) for more details. A Get Together is basically running all kinds of saws, eating all kinds of food, telling all kinds of stories, and remembering to use any bathroom before andydodgegeek renders it unusable.

thats only 40 miles from me!

Stroll on over to this thread, read every post, and file a full report, then you'll be allowed to go: http://www.arboristsite.com/chainsaw/158438.htm

Seriously, there's about 1100 pages of BS among GTG attendees (and those like me that will get there one day, just not this spring), and 138 pages of actual GTG talk, pics, and other such stuff. Just go to the end and post up and introduce yourselves. Most of the guys that attend are pretty cool dudes, and whether you're saw rookies or grizzled loggers, there's stuff to learn, saws to run, people to meet, bull to shoot, and enough food to keep ya occupied the rest of the time.

I never met a GTG I didn't like, and highly recommend going to one if it's at all possible.

As long as we are on the "I Saw It On eBay" thread how about we resurrect the "Post Your GTG Here Thread"? Or post a GTG calendar somewhere, somehow, etc. I mentioned to Steve that sometimes I travel for work, and if I found I was going to be in VA when there was a VA GTG, I might like to drop in etc.

The Virginia GTG is April 6th as well. A calendar would be cool.
