Where were you hiding those?

Dang! :bang::bang: I wanted all of them!!

Great to meet you and I hope you feel as if we both did well on the deal. It hurt me a little to let that 260 slip away. Please tell your son (can't remember his name) thanks for the help loading. I couldn't get all of them into the basement tonight.

Yep. There's some crap, but lots of good stuff too. I see a couple stacks of bars as well. If that was local to me the XL101, XL400, 6-10, and C-52 would stay here, and I'd sell a few here and ebay the rest (probably parting about 1/2 of 'em out). Trade the guy a damn MS290 for the lot. My guess is that the Mrs has had enough of his saw collection and wants 'her' garage back.:D

Very nice guy and wife was nice, too. So was his son for that matter. Just goes to show what I have always said about this site, it has the best people around.

I met Steve tonight to make the trade, talk about old saws and let him know there is a support group for us here. I got a couple of new ideas from his wood splitter and enjoyed talking about collecting the old saws. An awesome day for me!

We are going to need a report, and inventory, and a list of potential 'adoptees'!

Philbert

Give me a few days, over the weekend at least. I know there are several saws that guys here will be interested in. I like the older saws, but don't have the "appreciation" some of the guys on here have. I should be able to figure out what all is there and get some sort of list posted.

dd

Edit: lots of Mac stuff

Diggers going to need a lot of time to inventory, that's for sure. That was a VERY big pickup load. Love the 260 and the others. Hope we can meet up again sometime.

Very nice Stihl 036 PRO p/h for $300 - Calling all Hoosiers

Indianapolis, IN, Craigslist. Looks like a nice saw, but the seller doesn't mention how long the bar is that he'd include for the extra $25. This is very close to where I live so if anyone was interested I would be more than happy to pick it up and get it shipped to you. For the record, I do not know the seller nor have I spoken with them yet. I might soon though as that's a good deal....

Other than the rebadged Makita 6401 & 6421 (which certainly aren't common), Dolmars are very rare around Houston, esp. the 9010. I believe that the 9010 was dropped in the USA by Dolmar a few years ago because of problems meeting EPA regulations.
