I've gotta say.........this dude is a freaking marketing wizard. The saws and his 'over the top' descriptions make,us laugh........but the fact is that he's actually selling those polished turds. People are paying his outrageous prices. Not always right away, and not every listing.........but often enough for him to be getting the last laugh.

Reminds me of the ONE male cheerleader that we had at our high school. We used to make fun of that 'fruity' guy.........but it turns out HE was MUCH more 'successful' with all those female cheerleaders that he was surrounded by than any of us were. HE had the last laugh there...

This listing gives me "shills." I am suspicious of the bidder with way too many bids that doesn't win the auction. He barely outbids the highest bidder and stops the bids again after being out bid.all appearances he is very cheap...but is very willing to go to $450. on a very old and polished saw.

Yep, it sounds like the seller has him a buddy. I guess some people don't know this is against the law in most places and on ebay but I imagine they look the other way because they're getting a percentage of it.

he's been trying to sell that saw for a looooong time. or he uses the same pics for similar saws. i wonder if he knows thems were about
$380ish when the dealers were selling them? or when the box stores got ahold of them and were selling them for less than 3 bills. heck. i've seen them new in box on kijiji from people who live in the city and bought one but never used it go for less than $200. usually around $150 or so.
new or not i wouldn't give more than 20bux for one.

I'm sure he's aware of all of that (and I agree with you). He's also aware that a flowery description and some nice clean pics will CATCH somebody. Has before and will again. PT Barnum was right...
