Yeah, I saw that one the other day. Not far from me at all, but i don't have the extra $$$ at the moment. Saw a nice 064 for $600 too... Good looking saw.

yeah - seems a lot of big saws coming in on the cheap right now. Local pawn shop has 576xp AT for $600, which is too rich considering what can be found elsewhere... but, because it is local, and I can guess about what they paid for it - and how much time is on the saw from the chain wear, I may offer $400, $300 if they don't let me take the muffler off. (I just need to get authorization from the wife. )

Someone could file a police report, say it was stolen, then alert police that the thief was trying to fence it on CL?
Most of us do not have receipts/bill of sales for used chainsaws to prove ownership.

I always wonder why people cover the license plate on cars they are selling. It's not stolen if they have a title. And you are going to know their address when looking at it in person...
