Haaa,,,I hadn't noticed that. Could be a few things.
Either he's broke from trying to pay for his house on the beach in Maui,,,,or he's barefoot and bumming on the beach with nothing but a surfboard and his stihl 090!

my question would be....
WHY IN THE WORLD would you have 20" skip chains on a 460?? that makes NO sense to me

actually I think it is pretty nice condition.
It is a rare saw and the bonnet looks good other than paint missing.
The original paint was not like todays paint and durable.
The lightning script and no dents are the key to condition.
the starter does not appear to be broken either as many are.
It is an 1106. 1108 is for the 08 saw

on eBay, this parts saw is probably worth $140. Add the accessories into the bargain and I wish I were close enough to pick this up.

no, not mine. but is is close to me.
I dont think I have ever seen a used 090 bring that much let alone 4000
like they say they saw on ebay.
just wonder were they got that info.
here is a nice snelerized 090 and it only fetched a grand

$4,000? I think that never-been-used 090 went for 3k just a week or so ago. Dreamers, sheesh.

Actually I just found what they were looking at.
Its a rebuilt 090 with 2 alaska mills with it for start bid of 2500 or buy now 4000.

OK....so I had to send the guy in Kent/Seattle with the 090's listed for 3k an email....the email I sent is at the bottom and his response is directly below....love it!

Yeah I'd seen that one. I'll be blown away if it sells. The funny thing is that the selling prices on 090s has been going down recently as the market is flooded because of a couple high sales back a few months ago. As Ric pointed out Brad's fully cleaned and rebuilt only sold for a grand.

There was an add on CL down here a guy selling a bunch of 090's at stinkys corner at 11 am today.. For super cheap. I had to work so I couldn't check it out but I bet that guy came down and picked them up earlier today. I wish he would have left a number or a way to contact him via email... Was up for a few days but no way to contact him..
