This saw reaches an rpm of 11,500, Stihl peaks at only 9000. This it not your Grandfather's saw. Paid 498.99+ tax in '03. Save around 300.00 with the cost of the new chains.

I don't see why you would jump to the conclusion that it's not legit. I noticed that he has added "Do not bid, unless you can pay for it at the end of auction"

I suspect he relisted it due to a non paying bidder on the previous listing......A lot of "buyers" on Ebay suck!!......Don't ask me how I know that!

Well you need to do a bit of reserch and then you will see why Madrone said what he said.

Here he sells a 090 for $590 on June 2

That's wierd for sure. It's odd that he's been able to keep 100% positive if he's scamming anyone though.

I only mentioned something, because it seems like everyone around here is on a witch hunt for scamming sellers and there's sometimes good reasons for items being relisted (I've had to do it myself). I have to admit, that one is wierd though.

I am not far from the guy, I have been tempted to contact him again and offer to sell it for him, I think he is suffering from a bad rap bc he either doenst know how to sell, or is indecisive... but at this point people who bid on 090's should have noticed its been listed a few times... and won... its hinkey...

That's sorta what I'm thinking (He doesn't know how to sell).....I've sold a lot of things via straight up, no reserve, auctions and if your item sells for less than you hope, you've gotta suck it up....that's life. I'm not sure if that's what's going on with this seller or not, but that's a lot of relisting for one item that has sold at least once.

On the same not I have noticed the same 2 or 3 homelite saws being listed from he same area over and over again. They "sell" each time then a week later are being relisted. Seems each time they go for a decent amount and with no reserve. Very fishy

That's right in my backyard, its only about 20 minutes from me, But I don't see anything that would compel me to pay 150 for those saws. Sometimes there's one "Gem" that makes the whole pile worth buying.
