Doesn't matter, that saw was listed for more than 1 week and its now obvious the seller didn't care how he got paid, he just wanted his money and you got a great deal... run that saw for me in BIG wood!!

I owe at least one 090 to someone here that posted about it. I hadn't noticed it because it was 50 miles away on another towns CL. Great deal.

And many times I've gone to pick up a saw where they either uped the price or wouldn't budge because someone called to let them know they shouldn't sell it so cheap.

I guess this thread is a love hate thing. It sure beats the plumbing forum....

yup, I owe a 394 to Watsonr as well (not the 150 one...low hrs, just needs a piston and some cyl cleanup...)

but NOTHING like the people who call with no intention to buy upping the price...

I know someone that had that happen with a 090... started around 250 or 350, was 1200 or so by the time he got to it... ugh. :censored::censored:

hello

i have a nice shape stihl 090 that will usually start in one pull with out choking it . i put a compression gauge on it and in one pull it has over 175 psi in compression . i m mainly wanting to trade this for a 090 av or a nice fire arm but i will also consider selling it so i can buy a 090 av or a nice fire arm . this saw is perfect for milling or just knocking down super big trees . i m asking $750.00 for it or will trade for a nice high powered rifle (ar-15) or semi auto shotgun (mossberg 9200) or others or will trade for a nice 4 wheeler . let me know what you have

...... Guest it doesn't matter that the same thing happened to me,,,LOTS. Like the 090 for $350, member here got it, oh and the nice big Homelite Wildman got..$125.

I'm apologize if I offended you by purchasing that 090AV in Louisiana for $300, but I never saw anything posted, I search within 250 miles of my home 3-5 times a week, drove 5 hrs (round trip), carried cash, and bought the saw. The seller never made any reference to someone else wanting the saw or even speaking to anyone.

If there is a next time and it is a saw I want, I will buy it again without regard or reservations. If you ever find a saw in this part of the world and I can help you out please let me know as it would be safe to assume I've already passed on it and would be glad to help someone else.

Again, sorry for the confusion.
