On craigslist recently was a husky 288xp for $100, It still ran! owner bought a new saw and no longer needed the 288, I called imediatly, got directions, drove 3hrs, to find it already sold. Talk about going from elated to crushed!!
Maybe it was another member? deal of the year!

I saw that, would have been a four hour drive for me, but I was thinking about it.

Yes I told him I was on the way, and to consider the saw sold. but I understand that most of the time its a "whoever shows me the money first" deal. I"ve been burned before holding somthing for sombody who never shows, meanwhile you turn away other possible buyers.
Really sucks because I"ve been looking for a good "cheap" 288 to build for a long time.

If someone tells me they are "ON THE WAY" and they don't sound like a crack-head, I PRESUME they are on the way.

I've NEVER had an issue, and have NEVER presented an issue to others.

NOW, if someone wants to PLAY THE EMAIL/PHONE GAME then all bets are off. OR I will put people in line. If they are serious, they will understand.
