I've seen that before and wondered if that shows an automatic bid. Maybe some one will clarify that for us, Joe.

I've always thought that is was the current bidder, who has a higher max bid, getting bumped up as someone else raised the ante. Doesn't show the bidder who placed that bid that causes the raise because technically they never had the high bid. Hope that's clear as mud.

2 people bidding on his 2100CD and both have 0 feedback.

I wonder if I can make money selling scored saws on ebay. Just remove the recoil and say that I can't check compression or spark. Once the saw sells, sell the recoil in a different auction..... Then I can shill the thing up on a fake account. No wonder that place has degraded. I'm going to ask him for a pic of the piston. I bet he doesn't do it.

Couldn't he just turn it with a air ratchet?

to test spark, sure.....I use a ordless drill.

but you DO NOT need a damn thing but your finger to see if it has reasonable compression... that saw with a GOOD top end is almost impossible to turn with a finger..

There still climbing. BUY IT NOW $195.00. I guess I should have bought two at his original price. Ron

That guy is a real piece of work. Since you bought your bar, he's listed and sold the same type of Mac bar (must have a stack) about 1/2 dozen more times, increasing the price every time. The bar before this last one (which just sold for $195) was at least $10-20 cheaper than this one, and he had "this is my last one" or something similar in the description. He's also listed more of the Homelite bars, upping the price each time. I also wish I'd have bought one of each of the Mac and Homelite bars at their original prices...

In one of the earlier listings of the Homelite bar, he had a closeup pic of the McCulloch bar part number (think it was from your bar listing). Other than removing that pic, he's reused the Homelite listing verbatum (same as the Mac listing). It's a free country (for a while longer anyways) and he's free to charge what he wants for whatever he sells (and that's how it should be)...................However he does come off as being shady...:sucks:

Don't know about that particular saw of his but I just bought a bunch of 2100cd parts from him and they were better than described, a smoking deal moneywise, and they arrived at my door the next day.
IMHO he seems to be a straight shooter and I'd buy from him again.
A non-running saw is always a pig-in-a-poke... ya takes your chances!

This guy has been listing this saw ever since I put out a wanted posting. At that time, he told me it was a 965, listed as a 465 and now A65. I should check it out just to see what it really is.

As far as the Stihl 990 solar saw, that was my firewood buddy's doing. He does not belong to the site or even come here. He just did it to see what kind of response he gets.
You guys should all send him info on them. He's a good guy, just funny at times.

Spring Grove is SW of York.

Here is a real gem. Concrete saw run without an air filter. I think he needs to move the decimal point to the left one or two spaces.
