I have a 064 I bought, and I SWEAR the ignition lead is 8-10"...but have not measured it...

SUPPOSEDLY installed by a dealer, and it was under warranty (Saw is OLD) guy told me Stihl puts a lifetime warranty on the electrical components??

the factory BB? a 046 cyl will mount to a 044 with a bit of work..so it is possible...

but i'm not too sure about the Stihl cyls being made in Asia?? (see the question @ the bottom...)

He's dumb due to all of the above.

There's no way he could be a Silver level tech and not know that Stihl makes top ends in Virginia too. Also how is a heavier wrist pin better for anything other than milling? BB Kits made in USA? I smell BS

18".......motor works like it did when new (hard to start but works good when hot and gives out if used for too long) .....today on this cold morning i decided to start it
and cut a small tree....it hesitated for a long time but eventually ran like a champ.....then the chain fell off and i noticed bar got busted and chain became distorted beyond repair.....

Those aftermarket "USA" pins are junk. I had one in my 066, went to take the pin out, and a chunk broke off the end. Hhhmmm, never had that happen with my Chinese Stihl pins.:monkey:
