Cool beans! My first truck was a 86' Sierra 2500 with a 4" suspension lift sitting on 32's running 12" glasspacks (true duels, no cats) pretty much off the headers. Got a traffic citation junior year from my from high schools "rent-a-cop" for loud exhaust. Ahh....good times!

dont buy motor just put some vortec heads a small cam one around 210/214 at 50 and a vortec intake on it.should easy give u hundred horse over them junk swirl port design.

Very nice truck Bowtie! I can't imagine anything better for a wood hauler. You won't be able to overload it with wood, and it's old enough you don't have to worry about a few scratches. You stole that thing!
